One of the country’s most happening cities, Bristol is a breeding ground for artists and alternative lifestyles, making it a great place to hang out and soak up some culture. It was once home to street artist Banksy, and bands Massive Attack and Portishead.

It was also where the Great Western Railway was fist devised and home to some of the railway’s chief engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s greatest projects, including the Clifton Suspension Bridge and ss Great Britain.
