The covered outdoor area has been transformed into a woodland garden, with winter foliage and heating keeping Christmas punters in the spirit of things. As well as the awesome decks and atmosphere, you can expect a unique set-up that combines four of London’s top food traders – Wildcard, Homeslice, Patty & Bun and Honi Poké – plus three huge bars serving up warming cocktails in a traditional pub setting and live music to boot.

The Chelsea Courtyard

One of London’s prettiest foodie retreats is hiding just off the Kings Road and is boasting a selection of warming cocktails and seasonal grub in a covered, heated hideaway. Even the Scroogiest Londoner won’t be able to resist the autumnal flowers and lighting that make this eatery a must-visit destination as the dark winter evenings draw in.

Wright Brothers

Wright Brothers Soho have launched a brand-new picturesque winter terrace in partnership with Sipsmith (London’s infamous distillery and dry gin creators). The snug winter hideaway is serving up both cold and warm festive gin cocktails including Mulled Gin, and Gingerbread and Chocolate Orange Espresso Martinis, as well as signature dishes.

Lodge d’Argent

Coq d’Argent’s après-ski-inspired pop-up is back for the festive period. The destination terrace has opened its Lodge d’Argent chalets on its rooftop, bringing the sense of chic Courchevel to the heart of the city. As well as sumptuous cocktails they’re also rustling up delicious dishes of alpine-inspired small plates including Raclette cheese with new potatoes and dry cured ham gratin. Bon Appétit.
