Longleat is hosting an array of fun autumnal activities during October half-term, including apple pressing, pumpkin carving, a beautiful owl display and spectacular fireworks.
Halloween Half-Term at Wild Place Project

Explore the park and work your way through creepy challenges to discover haunted hideouts and the wolf pack pledge. Take part in a pumpkin hunt and an epic Halloween costume competition.
Monster Mash at Theatre Royal Brighton
Children and grown-ups can enjoy a monster creative session of crafts, including making masks and props. You’ll also have the chance to bust a move to the monster mash!
Halloween Nights at St Fagans National Museum
Put on your best Halloween costume for a brilliant night at the museum. From spooky stories to creepy craft workshops, and live music to fiery jugglers, there’s loads of fright-fully good fun to be had.
Devil Glow Run
Run around the Devil Mud Run course with friends and family in this 5km Devil Glow Run in the dark. Prepare yourself by grabbing your glow sticks, UV paint and anything bright and colourful. Children must be aged 10+ and accompanied by an adult.
Tricks and Tonics at Pendennis Castle
Children can create their very own magic potion with the potion master. Show off your creative Halloween costume and you could win the fancy dress competition.
Join the ultimate zombie walk in Gloucester. Meet at Café Rene for a spooky stroll through the city centre. If you’ve seen The Walking Dead then you’ll have plenty of costume inspiration. All donations are being collected for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.
Suitcase Stories at The Watermill Theatre
Enjoy an interactive storytelling show for children aged three and over. Journey around the world alongside an adventurous explorer as she regales you with tales of fishermen, fairies, feasts and beasts.
