Get your game face on at the Science Museum

Power UP, a hands-on video game extravaganza, returns to the Science Museum by popular demand. Brimming with over 180 games consoles from the last 40 years, this fun-filled exhibition is the perfect way to spend an unseasonably cold spring afternoon.

The Science Museum has brought together some of the finest retro video games and PC classics to provide an immersive gaming experience. Whether you’re a gaming fanatic, a retro enthusiast, or need to entertain the family over the Easter break, then this show is just what you’re looking for.

From Pong to Pacman or Minecraft to Mario, there are loads of cool games to discover (or revisit), and you can even challenge friends to a multiplayer face-off.

Alongside your favourite childhood games, you’ll find some of the latest virtual reality technology, and there’s a workshop every day (9–15 April, 11.30 and 14.30) where you can learn to make your very own gaming controller.

But you better be quick, this is an Easter holiday-only event – come 15 April, it’s GAME OVER!
