Everything you need to know about Bath Mozartfest

With some of the world’s finest musicians returning to Bath to celebrate the very best in chamber and orchestral music, tickets are selling out fast. Find out all there is to know about this year’s Mozartfest, which can easily be reached by GWR train.

Mozartfest will be taking place in three of Bath’s finest venues, Assembly Rooms, Guildhall and The Forum, from 8–16 November 2019.

It’s no small feat that Mozartfest is now in its 29th year. This wonderful event, which celebrates the very best in classical music, attracts world-renowned artists and music lovers through every November. And this year’s festival promises to be one of the best yet.

Expect amazing performances from some of the greatest musicians in the business, including English Chamber Orchestra, La Nuova Musica with the incredible soprano Lucy Crowe, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Belcea Quartet, Nash Ensemble and much more.

There’s even the opportunity to dine with fellow festivalgoers at the Bath Mozartfest Supper on Saturday 9 November. Taking place at Woods Restaurant, tickets cost £50 per person and include a two-course meal with wine and coffee.

Mozartfest is the perfect occasion to don your glad rags and enjoy an evening or two (or three or four) of world-class entertainment in the lead to Christmas.
