Oxford

The city of dreaming spires, home to one of the most famous universities in the world, is a delight to explore. Walk in the footsteps of some of the greatest authors and intellectuals when you visit Oxford University‘s many colleges, including Christ Church’s Hall, used as a location in the Harry Potter films.

There are certainly no shortage of good-quality museums in Oxford, such as the Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers, but if you get tired of hiking around, admiring old buildings and artefacts, you can always take a delightful punt down the River Cherwell.
