The sun is out and this London hotel has a rooftop pool!

You can enjoy the good things in life at boutique Shoreditch bolt-hole The Curtain, including South American soul food and a dip in the heated rooftop pool, among other glamorous perks.

London is not short of boutique hotels, but relatively new addition The Curtain is proving a seasonal hotspot. Its chic, heated rooftop pool is available to members and hotel guests, both day and evening. When it’s light (and hopefully sunny) guests can expect invigorating views of the City skyline. By night, twinkling lights illuminate the space, making a swim even more relaxing.

The pool sits alongside LIDO, a Moroccan-inspired day-to-night brasserie specialising in light, seasonal dishes. It’s a glamorous sight (thanks to its dramatic glass walls and lush greenery) and is in keeping with the luxurious style of the hotel throughout.

Tempted to book? There are 120 cosy rooms and suites with exposed brick walls and king-sized beds, up to eight velvet and leather-clad cocktail bars with bespoke artwork, and a fashionable restaurant serving South American soul food. The latter – Red Rooster – is a real draw, not least because it has live music seven days a week, to be enjoyed while you tuck into chicken waffles and tasty short ribs.
