Adult ball pit? Yes, please!

A work of genius, Ballie Ballerson is a cocktail bar in East London that has a ball pit-cum-dancefloor and serves drinks inspired by retro sweets, such as Skittles and Dip Dab.

The formerly Dalston-based establishment has recently moved to larger premises in Shoreditch, offering even more space for ball-orientated shenanigans, using one million plastic balls.

As well as offering sweetie-inspired cocktails – Pink Shrimp Daiquiri, Wham Bam Goddamn, etc. – there are pizzas and snacks available, and for those keen beans, try the ‘bottomless’ prosecco and pizza (for two hours), setting you back £30 (see website for up to date prices), on offer during weekends.

If you’re looking for something a little more intimate – perhaps you have important clients to entertain – you can always book one of Ballie Ballereson’s private ball pits.

Last but not least, if you are concerned about hygiene (who wouldn’t be?), Ballie Ballerson has a ball cleaner called Gobble Muffin, which sanitises and cleans 18,000 balls per hour.

Ballie Ballerson is free to enter midweek and no pre-booking is required. If you want guaranteed ball-pit fun and to skip the queues, book an advance two-hour ticket through the website ballieballerson.com
